The Information and Public Relations Department with abundant energy and enthusiasm disseminates information on the schemes and achievements of the Government headed by the Hon’ble Chief Minister Thiru M.K. Stalin who treads the path of Hon’ble Muthamizh Arignar Dr. Kalaignar who considered welfare of the people as his foremost aim, welfare of the State as his objective, people’s support as his asset without wavering in his commitment to serve the people in accordance with Thiruvalluvar’s dictum. This department continues to act as a bridge between the Government and the people.

Advertisement Section


Advertisements pertaining to the achievements, schemes and policies of the Government are released through Information and Public Relations Department in dailies, journals and electronic media to enable people to know fully about the social and welfare measures taken by the Government. Advertisements on tenders for developmental works and other related works such as notifications for land acquisition are also published in the newspapers through this department.


Tender and Advertisements


Tender advertisements are also released using modern electronic gadgets to reach the public easily without additional expenditure through the Government website www.tenders.tn.gov.in maintained by the National Informatics Centre. If required, tender forms can be downloaded at free of cost. As the tender advertisements are released in newspapers at the cost prescribed by the Government and uploaded in the Government website, transparency in Government administration is ensured. This facilitates participation of all eligible persons in Government tenders without any partiality.
